Ambassadors are responsible for a variety of tasks, including assisting at Chamber events, mentoring new members, promoting Chamber benefits, facilitating communication between members and staff, and representing their businesses or organizations positively. Ambassadors' outstanding efforts and commitment are celebrated and appreciated by the Chamber community.

Ambassadors receive recognition for their dedication and contributions, including "Ambassador of the Year" awards and acknowledgment in "Ambassador Spotlights." Their commitment and involvement help shape the Chamber's success and future.

How to become an Ambassador?

To join the ambassador program you must first meet the following requirements:

  • Be a current member of the South Lake Chamber of Commerce
  • Participate in the Ambassador Orientation Program
  • Serve for at least one calendar year
  • Commit to a minimum of five to ten hours of service per month (Hours may vary)
  • Always promote the Chamber in a positive manner

What Type of Committees are There?

Special Events: Organize and execute signature Chamber events that reinforce our mission, provide networking opportunities, and serve as fundraisers.

Public Policy: Support the development of countywide legislative and public policy agendas.

Chamber Board Directors Committee: These committees make sure the Chamber runs well and follows its plan.
