Shahanaz Rahaman has been an integral part of the South Lake Chamber for six years, starting her journey as an Office Manager. Shahanaz relocated to Clermont 20 years ago after serving in a corporate Administrative role for a Fortune 500 company In New York City to Lake County Schools where she developed a strong foundation in community service before joining the Chamber.

As the Member Relations Director, she collaborates with local businesses, providing unwavering support and guidance to help them thrive. Her enthusiasm for aiding nonprofits further underscores her dedication to community service.

Married for 34 years, Shahanaz is a proud mother of three beautiful children. Family is at the heart of her life, and she cherishes every moment spent with them. In her professional life, Shahanaz devotes herself to giving back to the South Lake community by serving on the Lake Sumter State College Foundation Board.
